I use my Apple watch to avoid having to carry my phone (need to be available for rare emergency calls or texts with my work). I'll wear the Apple watch on my right wrist, but don't take off my proper watch on my left wrist.

I had feetbit on my right wrist for about 4 month to track my resting hear rate for my training.
Can't stand it any longer though. All these tech gadgets become obsolete every 3 month or so.

I have a gen 1 apple watch and I enjoyed it for a couple weeks but it lost its novelty. I like the exclusivity and look of my current non-smart watches. Quite frankly, half the features on the watch I never use since my phone is always with me. I am hoping sometime in the future there will be a less bulky variant that provides all the key features and allows for it to be worn on the opposing wrist without looking silly.

I like a nice dial on my wrist. I think the Apple watch has some cool graphics for dial choices, and I bought the Hermès edition when it first came out. But the fact I have a dark screen on my wrist most of the time is a deal breaker for me.

One day Apple will figure out how to keep the screen on, and I’m afraid I might then ditch my Rolex. Until then...

I was gifted an Apple watch. I am on an older blackberry so was at a loss with what to do with it until my wife saw it and appropriated it. She absolutely loves it.

In just jeans and a tee shirt I can work without my iPhone in my pocket and still keep in touch with emails, messages and calls.

My Rolex watches can’t do this......yet?

I'm sure it's a threat to Rolex and they're taking actions..maybe reducing production?

Hmmmm, I’m rwally conflicted here. I was sold on the first series but quickly reverted back to wrist watches. In seeking a healthily love style I optioned for a slim fit flex2 which I wear on my right wrist and wear my watches on my left however there is no doubt Apple are aiming to be an essential part of our lives and I can’t help but wonder how long it will be until it stops becoming a segue into mechanical watch ownership but instead a replacement

Very true but, at least for now and from what I currently understand, at least Apple isn't selling the data but, rather, uses it to improve their product. Regardless. I'm not the target market for this watch. The next watch on my radar is a Cornes de Vache in platinum. That written, a lot of the people I know are getting the 4th generation Hermes Apple Watch while their Cartiers and Rolexes are sitting in their drawers. We're in a brave new world in a lot of ways.

With what level of accuracy are you stating that? That's the problem with everyone. They "thinK" their data is safe. Or, someone told them, so it must be true. Truth is, you have ZERO knowledge of where that info goes the second you tap it into the screen.
