I would go fluted without a doubt. I have a Datejust on jubilee with fluted bezel as my daily beater. I almost never use a suit to work, mostly khakis and pique polo t-shirts. I use it 24/7 and most people do not notice at all. You have Michael Kors and Daniel Wellington watches that to the average none WIS person looks more bling and expensive then a Datejust. So do not care what you think others may think.

I just got an email from my AD letting me know my DJ order of domed bezel, jubilee, white face, Roman numerals will be in store in the next couple of weeks as opposed to the couple of months they were originally told when we placed the order.

I went for the domed bezel for a couple of reasons ... first was that it is a modern DJ replacing my very first Rolex and although my first watch had a fluted bezel, I wanted to seperate the new watch from the original in case I come across it again in the future and add it to the collection, and secondly, when trying on both watches, the domed seemed to be visually slightly bigger (to me anyway).

Either way ... you cant go wrong, these are beautiful watches whichever way you decide to go.

For me a DJ - any DJ - means fluted and Jubilee. Absolute classic.
