Any dial with the jubilee/fluted combo looks great! (IMO). All around great watch, worn on any occasion.

Yeah, I get all that. I was addressing the poster who wanted to talk specifically about the physical measurements. He’s the one that dragged the Sub into the conversation. I never made any comparison against the Sub or any other watch, except the DJ36.

I did address measurements. The DJ 41’s actual measurements are more like 38/39. No where near 41. I completely disagree that an “extraordinarily large” wrist is needed to wear a DJ 41.

Please read my comments. I said the dial of the DJ41 is larger the the Sub’s dial. The Sub is a tool/sport watch with a sport bezel, and looks appropriately sized at its 40mm.

That’s fine, you are absolutely entitled to your opinion on what looks good, and what doesn’t.

You do still seem to be addressing the ‘style’ of the two watches and raising their differences and how one can appear as this or that, as it’s a sports watch.

I’m not disagreeing that some may feel the DJ41 looks off due to its original smarter heritage from the 36mm.

I’m also not disagreeing about your reference to the bezel.

As I said before. Sports bezel or not... the physical diameters - i.e the actual coverage of your wrist that the watch takes up, is less on a DJ41 than a Sub C.

That, is fact. It’s not down to anyone’s opinion.

I read it. I just don’t think a large wrist is required to wear any sub-40mm watch, regardless of dial size.

Exactly.

We’re not talking anatomy and design here.

The point being made is the physical, actual, space on your wrist the DJ41 takes up.

Awesome pic and watch!

This would be my choice, as well. The blue, silver, and rhodium are all super nice (had the rhodium for a while), but this would be the one for me.

Saw one in the flesh last week. If I hadn't been there to collect the CHNR, this one would have come home with me.

Slate dial, fluted bezel and oyster bracelet makes it a great combo!

Some fantastic pictures here!

I'm not keen on the diamonds on the face though, makes it look too dressy... plus telling the time actually becomes a challenge!

But that silver and blue are just stunning!

I have a SS silver dial smooth bezel, I think if I got another I'd go blue dial.

I have a 41 with the rhodium dial, fluted bezel, and jubilee bracelet. I absolutely love it but get whatever combo speaks to you. For me mine is perfect and I wear it everywhere (including a recent caving trip).

Give black some consideration as it becomes an instant classic, but with a smooth bezel.

Very contemporary.

I had the Dark Rhodium on my wrist at the AD in Zurich but due to tax and whatever I didn’t buy it. But I really fell in love. It’s sold out where I live but I have asked the AD to give me a call when it arrives. But I’ve been waiting for a while now.

I went for the dark Rhodium dial with fluted bezel and jubilee. Went to put my name down with the AD on the 6th of last month and it arrived this week. But i won’t be able to pick it up till the 21st.

OP, it's been a month, did you buy one yet?

I was deciding between white and blue over two months ago. Went with white for quick legibility at work, and because I wear it every day (casual) white fits with a lot of colors.
