Looks like the Aurum group is planning to take over N. America.

I can confirm RX0 is corrected. My friend and I waited in freezing weather for the store to open for hour and half. They had every SS model available, Pepsi, Daytona, hulk, SD43, sub, and a case full of nautilus, 5711 and 5712.
Not everything was pre-sold, I was offered both 114060 and the Hulk. Unfortunately, the Pepsi was pre-sold. The Vice President of the US was kind enough to work with me and promised me that the next Pepsi comes in is going to be mine. The store itself is fabulous, the bar downstairs is nicely put together. Overall a wonderful experience. |

So most are presold? I assume to VIP’s. How much do you think VIP’s are spending at this event?

We just went since it was a nice day. . There were so many watches. Wasnt planning on buying a watch as things are generally presold.
Crazy thing there were no tudor 58’s. But they had some vintage 1680’s Also some 5 digit pepsis and such. Every patek you could think of. That said the staff made us feel very welcomed... they even ended up selling my wife a watch. It wasnt a rolex. But its going to have to stay there for a few weeks. As for the waitlist, They are new so there is a very short list, yall should go and put your name down on some watches. I have a feeling im going to spending more money there lol |

It looks like this. It made her day. I bought a 5711R somewhere else the other day. We dont have a relationship at WoS but have been wanting to build a relationship with them in vegas. But it never worked out. Now with this new store. Feels like we can start building a relationship. :) |

Sorry you are upset. Weve been visiting WoS in vegas for a long time and am on first name basis with the sales over there. We even texted them while we were in store. Our case may be very specific as its a relationship that should have started long ago. Im sure they turned a lot of people away. |

I went in today. It’s a lovely store with very friendly and helpful staff.
They had every hot Rolex (white & black SS Daytona, Pepsi, BLNR etc etc) and Patek (5167, 5164, 5968, both white and blue 5711 and 5712). As others have said they were all pre-sold but still nice to view all in one place. They were actively asking you to register for their lists, even for the hottest models. I guess they may just be building a contacts list though. Highly recommend a visit for anyone in the NYC Soho area whilst they still have everything in the case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just visited the store and it was indeed a little slice of paradise. It's like a museum of all the hottest watches ready for you to try on. I tested the PP Aquanaut and 5711 on the wrist, pieces I never see in display cases. The sales staff were all super nice and willing to register interest in any piece including the hot Rolex sport models. While they may not have a firm waiting list per se, they are a new shop so it's a good opportunity to buy a watch or two and make a good impression. I would venture to say the odds are good that they will be able to deliver hard to find pieces quicker than other stores if you develop a relationship early. Aside from an amazing selection of watches, they have a sweet Grand Seiko exhibition of Japanese limited edition pieces and a virtual reality movement assembly screen. Downstairs they have a killer bar as well. Unless you hate your wrist and dislike watches in general, I strongly recommend a visit to WoS's new store on lower Greene Street in Soho. It is the best watch store I have ever visited.

Visited store today. Of course everything is presold. Tried to sell me vintage pieces. Took my info down for a SS model, not really expecting much but they did say they’re trying to keep sales local and avoid resellers.

I too have a relationship with WOS in Vegas at the Wynn and have bought a number of watches there. Extremely courteous and accommodating. With patience they will produce...

I think that the salespeople and management at Wempe can be very warm. After a number of drop ins and chats they sold me a steel Skydweller last year. Since then, I’ve been a loyal and happy customer. |

Regarding Wempe, I think I know what both of you are saying. The location of Wempe on prime 5th Ave is a snobby location, and yes, they have a doorman who sometimes has to unlock the door for you, but so does WoS. I think that's just good sense. LGD- I agree with you that the staff at Wempe is not snobby at all and couldn't be nicer. Wempe is also good about letting you try on watches and explaining the key points. They treat you the same whether you're buying a $3K Black Bay or a $25K ALS. I also understand what Ballzzz is saying. The setting and the staff at WoS in Soho has a much younger, hipper and modern feel. WoS has a downstairs level with a sweet Mad Men style bar and complementary cocktails. Overall, WoS has more of a GQ vibe versus Wempe which has more of a Town & Country vibe. There is plenty of room for both types of stores in this market and both are great given their respective locations and target markets.

My GF was actually just in the area after work so I asked her to go do some recon for me. She was also told it was closed, the doorman said it was for a staff meeting.

Stopped in tonight. Nice place. Saw a guy drooling over a Daytona with white dial . Was not for sale. Surprised at how small that watch is. Nice size for my wrist. Pepsi was gone. the guy that owned the building had dibs and scooped it up.....so I was told. Decided to head to Fanelli's for a few martinis and a burger. Was a bit cheaper. Claire always treats us right.
