Had it a couple times. It’s a beautiful watch, but the like the Pepsi colors a bit more.

Batman is a run of the mill GMT with a half blue bezel. Too me-its not special enough to merit the attention it gets.
Pepsi-SS or Rootbeer-both awesome. |

Not everyone likes the same thing.
Thank God same with wives. Otherwise would have to share mine if everyone liked her.

We all have different tastes, which makes this hobby more fun. No big deal

I didn’t bond with mine either.
Funny but to me, the BLNR looks better in pictures than in real life and the Pepsi looks better in real life than pictures |

In the same way your "Hulk" is a run of the mill Sub date with a green bezel and dial? Honestly, you do this all the time; don't you have anything better to do than to talk down watches you have chosen not to purchase? Sheesh...

Yep same here...bought it twice as well. I wanted to love it but honestly I think I was just caught up in the hype and was just ‘honored’ that it was made available to me by my AD. I do need to replace and add a GMT so maybe the TT is the way to go for me.

The only thing I really dislike about the BLNR is the stupid “Batman” nickname. I’m on a few waitlists for the BLRO but it’s mainly for the Jubilee bracelet.

Unless the old used one was all bashed up and scratched, this makes no sense to me. But hey, you know, you can probably sell it at a small profit, so that's fine. Plus, OP, you have good taste in cars, so you get a pass from me.

Welp, I had a Batman and let it go in lieu of keeping my Bluesy! I will agree though the hulk is run of the mill though... OP, The Pepsi should scratch the itch... Such a gorgeous piece... |

It never sang to me either. I had the opportunity to pick it up twice (early last year, and again before ordering my LN in June). I just couldn't appreciate it on my wrist. I actually smile when I look down at my LN, though, so it just goes to show that you have to wear what you love, and one watch is not for everyone. I think the Hulk is heinous, I couldn't care less about a Daytona, but I would kill to be next on the SS Pepsi list. That's why Rolex has such a large catalog, I guess.

Yep, always preferred the LN despite my well-publicized preference for blue over green.

I really like the BLNR on some people, but have tried it on several times and I never like it on my wrist for some reason.

I don't know about you guys, but after selling a watch that I did not like once, I am pretty sure I won't buy it a second or third time just to be sure.
Who buys something you don't like more than once and why? |

I tried to like it as well but couldn't, THE ONE GMT that I feel that is going to make me happy is the pepsi

I'm guessing these folks both at AD and flipped for a profit since the batman is in demand. |

I've never been fond of the BLNR. It's too stark for my tastes.

I bought a BLNR in April 2018. I thought I was "settling" because I really wanted a new BLRO but thought the wait would be years. I ended up getting the new BLRO last month. However, now that I have both, I really have to say that I like the BLNR MORE THAN THE BLRO!!! At the risk of offending some of the other forum members... I like the BATMAN more than the PEPSI.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to come on here and post that you don't like the Batman unless it's to help sell it.
I happen to like it, but I had to see it a few times (when you could still do that at an AD) to decide it was the watch for me, in other words it grew on me and now I love it and can't imagine not owning it. It didn't grow on you, no big deal, move on. I've owned many watches that I ended up selling for one reason or another. Lots of great watches out there, we all don't have the same taste in watches. That's what you get when you buy the hyped Rolex due to herd instinct

I let one go as well. Had one of the first batches. Had it about a year I guess. I would prefer the all black.

Same for me, the BLNR after all became boring - try the BLRO, it definitely a better looking watch

I can relate...the BLNR didn't stick around long for me. And I had my own on again, off again love affair with the LV-c. In the end, we both went our separate ways.
So there...I've said it. I've jilted the two icons of TRF. Bring on the pitchforks. |
