Still in love after almost 5 years of ownership.

Do it.

There only one dance and it's yours. I'm fond of consolidation, personally. I just traded in 19 watches for two.

Visions of a 116618LB Dancing in my Head

Hey Mark, that full gold sub is a really beautiful watch. If you have no other watches on your mind, go for it.

It is a statement wAtch and I love it.

Cheers my brothers. Thanks for all the input. Wife had a great idea. I keep a separate watch fund and occasionally do some consulting work on the side (home biz) that supports it. Last couple years have not done much side work as I really did not need to and the last year the market has been so crazy I have not had much watch purchase thoughts. She suggested that instead of trading/selling the Polar, I should just be patient, do a little side work and when I have enough cash in my watch fund + the 116613LB then do the deal. I am not that far off. Like to make it happen before the LV GTG.

Now I need to find a GIG!

The YG Sub is a beautiful watch. Keeping them all and adding the YG Sub is the best of both worlds!

I noticed a few days ago that the Rolex website no longer offers the 116618 with blue dial/bezel. Who knows when it was dropped?

Yep - the 116618LB is the dream of many watch owners. I will upgrade my 116613LB next year.

I feel 2019 will see a slowdown in watches and back to more normal prices we saw pre boom.

As far as I know, the RRP of the 116618LB has been the same since 2012. I surmise it's on its way out...

Who mentioned MSRP?

I would never buy any precious metal at MSRP unless you want to chuck away $10k.
