depends on how much cash going to you. But the price of 15400 increases a lot from 2016, so the timing is not on your side.

No way I’d do that trade. I currently have the WG sub and HAD a 15400. Pass on this one.

Would do it if I had other watches. After looking at gold subs and 15400 in SS, I'd say they attract scratches at about the same rate. 15400 is not a good daily if you're rough on watches. But I've seen rather beat up APs and they look okay.
In terms of finish, AP beats Rolex any day of the week. Not obvious unless you compare two brand new watches side by side.
