You really can't go wrong with either color, but the blue is certainly more striking. Congrats!

Beautiful watch! Did you ask for the freebies or did they just give them to you? I am buying a DJ41 this week so a few freebies would be great!

I decided to go ahead with the Rhodium.. spoke to the AD. They got it all arranged in its coffin etc waiting for me on arrival with a nice cup of tea...

I get there and I ask to see the Blue just so I know I'm doing the right thing. As I'm 100% convinced that the Rhodium is the right one!

Nope... I see the blue... and in today's light I am absolutely drawn to it...

TLDR: I bought a blue DJ41! Plus got some nice freebies...
Gloves... Magazine... Green Rollerball Pen in a lovely box.
Rolex transport box. All stickers left on watch.... tags... warranty card everything for the watch.
2 extra links for free! And they even paid for my parking... £5!
Fantastic service... Hugh Rice @ Hull, England.

Cant bring myself to take the stickers off yet! Tomorrow! hahaha

Your TL;DR is longer and more drawn out than your post. Awesome watch however. Congrats!

TL;DR Read entire post including very long TL;DR. Enjoyed all of it. Pics from OPs experience were awesome. Agreed the Rhodium is a good choice. Congratulated OP on an awesome purchase.

Wow that's quite a few replies! I don't know how to multi quote... I'll learn!
Firstly, thank you all for your lovely words. :)

But in answer to some questions.

I saw Rhodium in person next to the blue.

I asked for some freebies... I said to them "You don't have any Rolex merchandise you could give me? I'd love a calendar" The manager gave me that pen... it's a RollerBall and it's really well made!

Gloves - they gave me them so I could polish the watch with them.. as it's just very soft silk (like) material.

My wrist size is 8" (doesn't quite look it in the picture... but it's hard to take accurately. I always think pictures look deceiving) Regarding wrist size.. I actually tried a 36mm and I didn't think it looked that small either... But I went for DJ41... new movement etc.

I'll take some more pictures of it tomorrow in natural lightning, as that was all artificial and it makes a heck of a difference!

The store really did look after me. I am very impressed. Tomorrow I intend to buy some chocolates and a thank you card and have them delivered to the store. (Is that silly? My girlfriend says I am crazy to do that)

The searcher... I had to ask. But they were more than happy to Oblige. Worth asking for free stuff... I am quite a cheeky guy anyway... so I always push my luck.

BlackHawks fan...
My TLDR was pretty long! But it was just that single line that was the TLDR part!
I should have put a new line / paragraph for my list of things!

Thank you all :) Hope I answered your questions!

Congratulations. I've been thinking hard about the rhodium vs blue as well. The both look beautiful in pictures. I have been leaning slightly towards rhodium but lately the blue has started to gain ground. I haven't yet had the opportunity to compare both in person.

Congratulations on your DJ. It looks marvellous.
Your AD has really looked after you.

Also I love your marble worktop, just be careful with your watch.
