It's showing a tritium dial. Seems like it's not something new.

I'm not too familiar with Tudor ... but watching the video at that 0:13 second mark (driver coming out of the water) it appears that there is a Tudor with crown guards, end links on a rubber strap (not sure if this will be a new watch) - looks like the pic above (with the red bezel) but with no cyclops.

If you look at the bottom of the dial at 6 you will see the T swiss made T writing, which means tritium, and we all know that Tudor and Rolex have not used tritium in ages.. Tudor uses Super Luminova.
sorry to be a buzz kill guys..
I think this must have been a prototype of sorts they had in the archives from back in the day, i think its just supposed to represent the brands inspirations and all.

Here's a couple more from the video. They might be current models but since I don't follow all the Tudor models I'm not sure.

Good post OP.

But I doubt Tudor would, err, um, Rolex would allow this to happen.

It simply can’t.

If VW started making air cooled 911’s again Porsche would blow up their factory.

I would flip my 58 for that in a heartbeat. Isn't next year an anniversary year for Tudor's diver? I remember reading that somewhere, but correct me if I am wrong.

Nope, not new model, it’s a prototype from the 1990’s. It’s popped up on Tudor’s Instagram a few times... go back to polishing your Airking and calm down

It’s really looking like Tudor is becoming what Rolex always was (purpose driven tool watches) while Rolex becomes more jewelry like. Not necessarily bad, Tudor as a company allows Rolex to evolve while offering traditionalists something as well.

That is hot right there. Wish they did decided to produce this. The old Tudor blue Subs were some of the best looking divers ever produced IMHO

Good catch...yeah, I believe we've seen that one before. I believe we have a thread already discussing the possibility, with the consensus that it would hurt their BB sales...or I could be dreaming.

Love the red bezel.

I’m happy with the black one and it is as pretty as it’s Rolex brother.

That honestly looks like an old model to me. You can kind of see the etching of the coronet on the crown and the bezel pip looks too faded.

I think people snubbing the idea saying it’s an old model may be missing the point. Yes, we can see it’s an old model (and appears in the hodinkee Tudor vid too) but it’s the fact it’s in that video. Why put only their current models in that vid except this pic of the prototype? I’d take it as a clue, otherwise why bother?

Wish Tudor would relaunch the submariner line.
