I tried on both the 5 and 6 digit at Howard Frum and def prefer the 6 digit! Now to find one from 2015-2016 in good condition...

It’s the best “one watch” you can get from Rolex IMHO. I happily had a 116710ln as my only watch for many years.

The 5 and 6 digits are pretty common and easy to get pre-owned - its just about finding one that fits the parameters Im looking for. I am definitely not going to try to find a NOS 5 digit and dont have a year to wait for a new one from an AD

Both are great watch. Cant go wrong with either one. But i can tell you are leaning towards 116710, so go with your heart with no regrets ;)
