Easy One

This is an easy one. The DJ41 with a fluted bezel is a dressier watch. Thus, it deserves the dressier bracelet. As an example, ask yourself what bracelets come with the DD40 or the Presidential? In effect, a jubilee.

Second reason to go with the jubilee - scratches. An oyster bracelet with polished center links grows "aged" very, very quickly. The jubilee hides this quite well (and the same point applies to the fluted bezel over the smooth steel bezel).

For me its fluted/jubilee every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Of course, this is only my opinion. I don't necessarily agree with it...

I have the jubilee and it’s way more comfortable and more dressy than the oyster

I have no problem with oyster bracelets; I actually like them more and feel they're more durable. I also don't like the Jubilees on the larger diameter watches. I just feel they look flimsy.

Oh well, I just saw the choice was already made. Enjoy your new watch!!!

Not sure you can just buy the bracelet from Rolex, but not 100%

For me any DJ should have a fluted bezel and a jubilee strap.

The safe choice is Oyster/Smooth, sporty or Jubilee/Fluted, dressy but there are no rules.

From your AD. I went the other way. Bought the watch on oyster and added the jubilee, $1500 from my AD. I believe that the oyster is slightly less, but I don't know that for 100% certain. Again, I do know 100% your AD can get the alternate bracelet. It's a matter of do they want to, or are they willing.

Oyster for me, the polished links look really smart. That being said I am not a fan of the jub bracelet.

This works for me too. I would add oyster shows more scratches, if that matters.
