I’m not worried she will leave. We have a great relationship.

But I also get the realities of life. I realize it can happen.

I guess in my case there are probably a number of reasons why I managed to initially date and subsequently have a successful relationship, but I suppose the main answer is that our personalities ‘match’ and we have similar views on many subjects.


She likes the fact I have a confidant manner compared to her far more shy and quiet demeanour.
Any of the other reasons I think she decided I was a keeper make me sound conceited, but I am and have proved to be honest and reliable with slightly old fashioned values – which she likes.

I do not worry she would leave me – but I do not take her for granted.
We have many friends who have split over the years and it always makes us closer and we talk about the possibility, but like me, she believes ‘the grass is not greener’ – so she puts up with my faults!

Never heard of this term until now but in seeing urban dictionary I guess the term I know is " dating above your league " ??

It's about confidence in a guy and the other " attributes " he has aside from physical appearance.

Kindness, a good sense of humor, politeness all goes a long way imho?!

The "other punching " I have nooo clue about and will pass on anything to do with it!?
