Man that polar looks awesome! I can make a strong case for owning the black and the white dial options. That's how much I love the Explorer II. Still not many choices in the Rolex lineup at 42mm. Such a great modern size sports watch.

I absolutely love my Polar Explorer II as well, and it accompanied on my trip to Park City, Utah yesterday. While I wore my JLC Master Calender, it was packed away with my sunburst Yachtmaster and will be joining me on the slopes tomorrow!

I feel the same way regarding not worrying about wearing it, unlike other pieces I own, and as result it sees quite a bit of thoroughly enjoyed wrist time.

Mine was recently the companion on a ski trip. Top choice for stuff like that.

I like the strap to match the 24 hour hand!!! I've got a five digit ExpII I just got back from servicing by RSC on Monday. I haven't even thought to set the time on it as I've been wearing my Platona. Since I got it, I've only had it off my wrist for one day and that was to wear my SD4K. After a day away from it I had to put it back on. Maybe it's a security thing as I don't have a safe at home and keeping it in its case just seem risky even on our extremely low crime island. The Explorer is a watch that I value for travel. I like its form much more that the multi colored bezeled GMTs.

Its a very comfortable watch for the size.
I love the clarity of the large hands
I've got the white dial, and its a rock solid watch!

This thing feels like a tank & the orange Rubber b makes it even more comfy. Anyone else feels the same way about the Explorer II?
Looks great with the orange strap.

I picked up a polar 216570 a few weeks ago, and have been wearing it exclusively since then.
