My wife is pretty petite and has a K series SD that she wears in rotation. Only downside is it gets significantly more noticed/comments.

My wife wore my SS Daytona before I traded it in. She didn't mind the size at all and said that it is in style for women to wear bigger watches these days.

My wife isn't interested in any of my stainless steel models. She'll send me pics of precious metal watches in everose or factory diamond set. I'm like with the price of that I can get 3 or 2 of this.

I’m all for that. Sounds like she’d like a 16610LV black dial and less chunky?

My wife wears my Speedie. It looks good on her. I don't wear it any more. It just stopped calling to me for some reason. She's now eyeing up the Bluesy.

I bought my wife a 36mm Balon Bleu and she always claimed it was too small. It is technically a unisex watch. Now she has her 41mm DJ, blue dial, smooth bezel, oyster. I think both fit her fine. She is 5'10" and can carry it off. Wrist is a tad smaller than my 7" wrist, so 6 1/2" inch I would guess. Still says her favorite is her Hermes apple watch. Go figure.

To me women's watches are for women, men's watches are unisex.

I agree as well. Recently gifted my wife an Oyster Perpetual 39. She rocks it with a 5 3/4” wrist.

Exactly what I was thinking. Deuce Bigalow comes to mind........

My wife wont be wearing any of my watches. Shes too brutal with them. Her 32 year old 28mm DJ looks like it went through a few wars. She has a new DJ thats 31mm and looks perfect size wise. Had her try a 36mm on and it was too big for her. She wears her watches and I wear mine!

Rolex does

Anyone can wear any watch they want of course, but to say that certain watches don't have an intended market is wrong.

I agree with you that my wife wouldn’t be wearing any of my watches because she just doesn’t take care of them. And that is why I bought her an Oyster Perpetual 39 of her own.

Personal I think a larger watch on a women accentuates their feminity, very sexy IMHO

Where I am from, I have seen more women wear a hulk than men. It really blew up in HK/China as a luxury fashion icon.

I don't mind if a girl wears a larger Rolex, the problem for me is when a girl with a toothpick wrist tries to wear a 40mm or bigger watch. It just don't look right IMO.

To me, if you got a tiny wrist you should wear 26mm old school style or the 28mm for the new age Rolex watches.

It's the reason I could never wear a 36mm Rolex (or any watch) my wrist is huge and the watches under 40mm look like toys on my wrist.

Spot on lol. I think my wife looks great in larger pieces and has great taste . She is a very classy woman as great taste in fashion. She dresses me as well ! Lol. I can’t wait to score her a Daytona I think it will look great on her. The other day we went to run errands she had on her Gucci shirt with green and requested to wear the hulk to match. What’s mine is yours !! Plus the benefit is if we share watches that means more watches for me!

Does this mean the large watch trend hasn't actually ended yet as some are hoping and wishing for

I think Daytona is the one that looks great on both men and women.

Being a luxury item, and the ultimate form of jewelry, I see no reason to restrict wearing of any watch to male or female. Some people just have inherently good taste, and can pull off rocking just about any make, model or size of watch. Up to the individual.

Cheers,
Carl
