In my honest opinion, my favorite currently available Datejust 41 setup. Nicely done and enjoy it!

One of my favorite DJ41 combinations as well. I didn't realize that the DJ41 is now that difficult to get. Anyway, glad you got it so quickly.

Congratulations!

Cheers,
Carl

Thanks for all the comments - so nice to find fellow enthusiasts!

I was surprised at the wait for a DJ41 but apparently the blue fluted is particularly tricky to get... or the same shenanigans that I’ve read about regarding other popular models by Rolex are at play.

Though the wait and the unexpected rush of getting it “earlier than expected” does make the experience particularly sweet - even if it is just an illusion

Congrats! I love mine which is exactly the same configuration. The shade of blue outdoors on a sunny day is a thing of beauty.

Beautiful watch. Congratulations. They told you 4 month waitlist and it shows up in 3 weeks? Nice surprise.

From what I've seen, the Rolesor (fluted) sticks on Jubilee are hard to get. Especially in Dark Rhodium, followed by blue (as he has.) The Wimbledon is easy to get.

Has the DJ41 blue dial combination been around for a long time? i.e a classic and will unlikely be retired anytime soon?
