Those are some big shoes you are stepping in. Being the dictator of taste for the entire human species won’t be easy. I’m glad Rolex makes different watches for different people. Sameness would be pretty lame.

Don’t get me wrong I’m sure the photo doesn’t do it justice but I keep thinking of the Tissot Rockwatch when I see it

Well said. Different strokes for different folks. If everyone was the same, this world would be pretty boring. You don't like it, don't buy it but who are we to judge what brings others happiness? As long as it's not hurting anyone, who gives a s***!

yeah you are right. I just admire that Patek and IWC stick to their roots and just make beautiful watches. I don't even like Patek or IWC as much as Rolex. I just admire that about them. I understand the thought by rolex though. Cardi B and Jay-Z have likely never even heard of Patek or IWC. Rolex saw an opportunity to appeal to a certain type of buyer and they jumped on it. Good for them.

Thread needs a full pic:

I think it looks great. Plus the dial is made out of a rock from outer space. If I am going to put down that kind of money then something in it should be from outer space.

Are you implying that the color of his skin has to do with what i'm saying? Check out howie kendrick's watch collection, a perfect example of a tasteful watch collection.

I just can't stand the gaudy culture that comes out of rappers and rockstars. There is a time and a place for it and I don't like it in a swiss watch. That's all.

i am saying you immediately said its a "rappers" watch... and cited Jay Z, who happens to have a killer watch collection and most of them are not stereotypical rappers watches and are standard versions of watches we all like.

its just that when people dont like a watch then its for a "certain type" rather than it being "not for me"

BLRO Meteorite!!!

Not for me - I’m not a fan. It seems a little miss placed for me although I get the Gmt and space connection.

Not that I could afford one anyway....
