Happy Birthday, or, Welcome to the Family

Just got this lovely OP39 for my 60th birthday from my wife (OK, my birthday's next month but she couldn't wait), also 2 weeks ahead of our first grandchild.

My first Rolex. I have lots of pieces I love, some more expensive, but you can't deny that getting a Rolex is pretty special. I know other models get more love (and if I could ever afford/get my hands on a Daytona, well, that'd be great), but I love the clean, classic look of this (and pictures don't do the white dial justice).

Add to that a lovely, resale-killing inscription (this one I'll never, ever want to sell, anyway!) and you have a very happy birthday boy.
