Fantastic find!! Look at those lugs! If the new laser welders were to look for the perfect example of factory chamfers and lugs, it would be this.

Just curious when you say “barn find” - what does this usually mean with watches? Would love for you to share the story with us!

@Springer, I am curious if the slight discoloration in the center of the lume nipples can be addressed without damaging the dial? I ask because mine looks very similar with a very sight darkening in the middle of the dot that really doesn't even show up unless under magnification. Or, I am going blind. Probably the latter.

That is some serious DNA grime that I wouldn't mind on a find like this . Congrats John.

The discoloration is common on these watches and is hardly visible unless louped or photographed. It doesn't bother me at all. It is what it is.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't bother me either, my concern was more along the lines of will it spread. I suppose a few more decades will answer that question. Great find, beautiful watch, and now you have one for each wrist and can track four different time zones.

If you think I need to place a thread in the vintage section to sell a watch you are about as clueless as they get.

Why bother posting if you are here to just take shots and cause problems!
