My grandfather was a Marine on Iwo and, like many others, severely wounded. My dad and I traveled to Iwo in February 2007, so it is in memory of my grandfather and memories of a great trip Dad and I had.

Seriously, when he left home and his mom was doing some redecorating and stripping wallpaper, she found that nearly every electrical outlet had scorch marks up the wall from his experiments!
