Not a fan of the Aquanaut at all. Maybe consider a AP ROO44, Absolutely love mine.

I have a BLNR Oyster, a current model Sub date and a 216570 Black.

Should I get a Smurf or a WG Daytona?

Choices!

I really see all of these posts as flexes. Really fun, entertaining flexes, but flexes nonetheless.

If you want to stick with white gold then either Smurf or Daytona blue dial would be my pics. I have shite gold Sub (Smurf). Dial is beautiful.

Not sure how a $40k tax refund is a "flex" when countless on here have mid to high six figure collections and up. Someone asking about buying a ROO44 or a Platona is just fine, but as soon as they state their budget for a watch they are showing off?

Add a zero and yer in the "flex" zone.

Yes. My collection is fairly modest thus far.

Looking for one PM piece to probably complete the collection. The sporty chrono makes the most sense.

I would say Patek Nautilus or Vacheron Constantin Overseas (beauties), but as you prefer stay in the Rolex family, you have plenty of choice.

YG or WG
Daytona / DateDate / GMT also a great choice

But maybe a Daytona ... IMHO

All this. I would definitely take an ALS over another Rolex. You have plenty of them, maybe it's time to switch it up and go German!
