Of course it’s the 3-7-2, today, tomorrow, always, and for ever and ever!

The 233 dot is the most important modern Panerai and probably one of the most collectible because it has its first in house movement, it’s a GMT and has a no less than eight days reserve.

The 127 is the one. I like the 233 but as far as Panerai DNA it does not reflect back well. No GMT Panerai's on the Pigs. I would say the 372 is also cool but I do like a second hand.

I just dipped my toe into the world of Panerai. Picked up a 560. I know little to nothing about the brand. A bit of an impulse buy. Did I pick a good one?

For me,these are the iconic pams:

Name: IMG_4709.JPG
Views: 552
Size: 290.2 KB

Painted dial Bettarini luminor - staying true to the pre-V Bettarinis

Name: IMG_3988.JPG
Views: 555
Size: 227.4 KB

Sandwich dial base luminor in 47mm - staying true to its history with 6152

Pam 232 or even 21 as it stays true to historical 3646

For me,iconic panerai should have either black or tobacco dial,no pop colored dials like blue or green...and no 30m wr models pleaseeee

I'm with you buddy, I love my 112. It's a great size at 44mm, it's two hand time only, it's got the sandwich dial, a manual movement, a display back, AND 300m water residence! What's not to love???

Wow, this is a tough one.

I would go 000 or 112 for a clean appearance.
233 as first in house movement, dome crystal, sandwich, Gmt, dot dial. - I’m bias ;)

A 2- or 3-hand manual wind would be most iconic, with no date or any other features.

I say that even though I like more features/functionality in a watch, and my favorite is my 317, followed by my previous 275.
