I think it's worth less than retail, after all you need to send it back to get the dial replaced, no one wants to read 9 o'clock 4 times per day.

I’m no expert but I believe most of the error Rolexes that sell for large amounts have a dial error part of the way it’s made or printed. This error is an applied one so I just don’t think it’ll be as pricey, but I may be wrong. The value of a watch is always in the rarity of a dial and as one poster said, it could’ve easily been added or can be faked easily. In any case I do see it selling higher in this collectors market and I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells in $20,000-$30,000 range.
