You’re gonna love that dial! I’ve got the same but with fluted bezel & oyster bracelet. I love both styles; can’t go wrong.

47.6mm luv to lug. Wears small for a 41mm watch.

Are you able to confirm the lug to lug length on that DJ41?

Modern classic. You'll enjoy the 3235's power reserve and time keeping. My DJ41 is great and has run flawlessly for over a year.

Good comment.

The timekeeping on my DJ41 is amazing. It's within a second or two a week.
I love the watch way more than my BLNR....

Haven’t seen too many smooth bezels in this configuration, super slick the blue is just eye catching

Thanks - yes, I deliberately opted for the smooth bezel. I had been offered the fluted too, and my motivation was not so much the saving, but I think it makes the watch more sporty and versatile. With a fluted bezel (which is absolutely gorgeous by the way) it felt more of a dress watch only. As my collection includes three really big dress watches, this combination was better for me.

I have to say (and I am saying this as someone who has four modern Submariner pieces and a BLNR) that I have yet to acquire a Rolex which, during the first 48 hours at least, is singing to me as much as this is. In this climate of sports watches being so hard to get at retail price, would highly recommend that people look closely at the DJ range (certainly before taking their money to another brand and getting a buyer's remorse!).
