The F40 still elicits excitement from me. I'm just glad to see one outside a garage.

I am serious about the F40.

Well, the 333 SP ... I'm talking raw Driving Experience without any real computers or any of the other stuff. Just the driver directly connected to the car. None of this fly-by-wire bullsh..!

Awesome cars and a lot of era's I see in picture 4 you took the one of a standard McLaren when further down the line is a Senna! Like most hard to go past the F40, what Steven is saying is a Ferrari with no driver aids, lots of power and a widowmaker reputation when the boost comes on! What we now refer to as analogue over digital.

Get out of here. My first car was a 1982 280ZX turbo 2+2 and then I also had a 1989 Supra Turbo targa.

Great pics and variety of cars too

My dad always had Z’s growing up, so they bring back great memories. I can remember sitting in them with the car phone hard wired in next to my left knee.
Was the F40 this one?

Thanks for posting the photos, Seth. If I saw two cars like that in a year in this part of Minnesota, it would be amazing.

I was going to say the standouts are the 80's cars but there you go and mention them. Would love to see a 300ZX up close. Nice photos.

Okay. Did some research. I get it. Sort of.

And while you have significantly more experience than I do, my experience tells me these are all drivers car.

I’m no race car driver. But I’m a driver all the same. And the comments about older Porsche’s and f cars make me laugh.

I’m the truest driver out there. I drive for love of being on the road. And today’s cars tickle me in a way that I can’t hardly define in words.

Kind of like it’s hard to describe good sex.

Yeah bud. This was some era of cars.

I’d love to resto mod a few that I pictured.

Love Ferrari, but the F40 is the only one that can literally make me stop and just say “wow”

I was lucky to see this beauty this weekend.

It’s like comparing modern F1 to the F1 when the F40 was created. Today drivers mostly manage the cars technical engineering, but back then the drivers were what made the cars great and not the other way around!

P.S. sex is still sex and there is no bad sex unless its no sex.

Wow nice lineup! 300zx brings me back as my mom had a 1990 white t top with red cloth interior when I was a kid. I loved it. Other car was a Land Rover discovery. Mom had cool cars

I spy a 959 in there

I've always had a soft spot for the older NSX. They looked super "Jetson's" like when they first came out.

100% cool.

Yet that raw driver / car interface of the F40... of course Formula 2000 cars turn it up a notch. Sure i admire today's Xbox cars and how well computers aid the driver in various forms, yet there's a rawness of driving the older beasts.

F1 of decades ago was raw, engines blew up, the sound was insane... not so much today.

I have to plead ignorance. I can’t rightfully comment.

I can say the following: I must somewhat agree. I was in the 911 yesterday taking some serious twisties. And yeah, I was pretty much a professional race car driver. And I love that about it.

I imagine I’d prefer the newer generation of highly engineered Xbox drivers. But again, I just can’t say for sure. I’d guess I never will be able to.
