Nine months on a DaytonaC (purchased 5/19) with no prior relationship. However, we definitely have one now.

Not bad at all here in Southern California for a Polar Explorer II 216570. My first Rolex (and my first post on TRF).
Inquired with several ADs and came away with a Polar in 3 weeks. In that time I was offered a black one too. Also saw 2 blue dial + green crystal Milgauss at two different ADs within 1 week of each other. YM is abundant in my area as well as Air King and somewhat Explorer I as well. About 6 months ago, a friend waited about 3 months for a black sub. |

I walked in to the AD I had a deposit with on a SkD asking for 2 tone CHNR. I got it a week later.

Significant multi watch purchase history here including multiple Rolex and Tudor watches and I can't get on any lists in Vancouver to save my life. I've stopped trying and am buying other watch brands and enjoying my collection.

Original poster has said it will be his first (watch), presumably Rolex luxury watch.
Zero purchase history. As someone who has more than a passing familiarity with how ADs do their business in this part of the world, I will go so far as to say those of you who have given anything anywhere close to a timeframe as to receiving a coveted model without any purchase history/ massive bundling is not in East Asia / Singapore. Ex Japan, which is newly poor :) |

I decided to call another AD today and this one was actually willing to take names for a list. Daytona, Batman & Pepsi have lists so long that they can't even say if you'll get filled in 2 years.
The polar 216570 was an estimated 8 months - 1 year. To me this sounds crazy. I understand the highly desirable pieces that have always had exclusivity, like the Daytona, but a GMT taking 2 years? Whaaaat? No. I put my name on the 216570 so we'll see, I'll post when/if I get the call. |

4 watches - 5 AD's - over a year wait already. I talk to the AD's probably once every 3-5 weeks.....still nothing. :(
One AD told me this week.....all of the list watches have already been allocated for the rest of 2019. Very disappointing. |

I've had various wait times. I have not really kept track but they have not been so long that I've gotten upset. They're just watches.

Bought my 114060 in 2016. It was sitting in the case next to the sub date. Man the good ole days. Walked in the ad bought the watch I wanted and went home happy. No making constant visits to the ad just to build a fake relationship to buy a watch you will never see.

If they have it they will sell it.
Max wait was over one year. Minimum was walking in and buying within 5 minutes. Ironically I have had more luck with ADs that don't know me. They normally the smaller tourists area dealers. |

I was on the wait list for the TT Rose Gold GMT II for less than a month. I am still in the process of moving money around and trying to afford it! Thought it would be several months at least reading the availability and seeing the grey market price difference. Can't pass this up!
