Watch Glimpse???

I have 2 quick stories...Was at the doctor today...have back troubles....as he is checking me, out I briefly see a chronograph on his wrist and am trying like heck to see what it is. White jacket is obscuring it. Meanwhile ,I'm in agony laying on this table. I'm trying to be cool about it and not have him notice. Finally, as he is writing me a prescription, I see it ....the moment of truth.....very dissapointed...Seiko. I was thinking all awhile I could ask him about his Daytona....i was bummed out. Had high hopes!

The other day I had to meet with a customer....first time with this guy....right away I notice a real nice looking watch...appears to be Rolex... I'm getting glimpses as we walk through his facility. We finally stop, he leans forward on a table to show me some blue prints...I drop my pen so I can get a look....Datejust...finally I score a real watch...I was pumped...The things I do to try and be conspicuos but get a glimpse..I think he busted me though so I didnt ask him about it.

What stories do you have on trying to get a glimpse and maybe strike a conversation ???
