Of course. No brained deal wise. Also the lady DJ will make the Mrs happy.

From my usual AD? No, since I don't actually want either one.

But random AD I stumbled onto the deal, maybe yeah... And then I'd flip

to be in the prestigious Daytona club? Hell yeah. I'll take your Datejust for discount at anyday...must be 36mm though..anything smaller is a waste

Has everyone missed the word ‘hypothetically’ in this?

Hurry over before the AD offers it to someone else. I’d take that in a heartbeat. Then think afterwards to whom I would gift the datejust.

So i want to offer all three: the above deal. I am no longer buying one watch at a two me in order to HOPE that they will consider me a Daytona. I am going to offer the same deal for all three and see who takes the bait. If none them accept then it’s time to cut my loss.
I just read this. Yea, no chance. I agree that this offer would be embarrassing.

I can understand that it can be embarrassing if you have no purchase history, but It is not if you’ve had a purchase history from the AD especially two non desirable models and now offering to buy a third undesirable for a ss Daytona

The way i see it, if they take the deal then great, but if not then you get to see their reaction and body language (important to go straight to the manager who has the decision making power). You can gauge to see how many more watches you need to buy before you get your grail. It’s a way to test their threshold point. Ask yourself this question. How do you know they are not stringing you along to get you to keep buying watches from them without an end in sight?

In a second. I'd flip both, too. Just to make that clear. Even though the Daytona C is my grail, I can't ignore a quick 100% ROI.

Any AD who agrees to that deal is top candidate for the Darwin Award 2019

I believe the watch is 14k retail so you could sell it for 28k? You would likely get 24k which isn't bad but then you still have to take a loss on the second watch and this isn't accounting for sales tax that you'd pay. So you flip your dream watch to make 7k after all is said and done? I'd rather just own it and be happy that I didn't pay over retail. It's probable that you'd never have another chance to buy another one at msrp

I believe you don’t fully understand the meaning of Darwin award. The dumb one has to die in order for him to not pass his dumb gene to new generation of idiots.
