Congratulations on your Explorer! It's a great versatile watch you can wear anywhere. Looks nice with the jubilee bracelet (never seen that before) too. Even though it may be more easily available (relatively speaking) and not going for double in the secondary market, it's still very desirable. Enjoy it in good health. Cheers!

I live in DC and currently waitlisted at 3 AD's trying to get one. I love these stories of "oh I just saw one in a case" Ugh. My struggle is real. Id go grey, but im dead set on local box and papers. Ill give it a couple months before I take a trip to DavidSW.

Put down a deposit so I can see it in person and try it on.

Get it if you end up liking it. It wears well, very comfy, and goes well with variety of straps. (except that one time that I picked up a god aweful strap to put on mine.)

on a desert island, I would hope for a different kind of 'date'.

I think explorer is a very fairly priced model especially given its versatility

Yes! It's from my 126710 BLRo. Not exactly a perfect fit. I rarely wear it like that. From what I hear though the 63600 jubilee fits perfectly.

Got mine from the AD in Escondido in March. They had it in the back in a coffin but were happy to sell it. Great watch. You will love it. Frankly I found it easier to find than an OP or a DJ....at least the combos I was after.

My bezel seems to get scratched by air molecules
But with that said I love it and is a favorite of mine as well.
