Good move.. I also passed on a sub date last weekend when I got the call. Don't want to FOMO and end up buying something I'm not 100% sold on and would rather want someone else in line get it. It seems like inventory is getting slightly better but who knows

If you need to ask, you probably don't want it. Actually, I'd say certainly rather than probably.

To let someone who wants it have it was the right thing to do. Good on you.

Sick that we are talking about a Sub. But we are in those times so I’d say buy 100%. Got nothing to lose. If finances are not right, sell for you money back and / or a nice profit.

Probably not a good move in my end and I don’t feel it’s right. It’s my watch and can do as I please but someone else needs it right now.

The AD has been excellent and they understood my position.

I’m not rich but do okay so it’s best not to jump at something just because it’s hard to get. There is someone else in the financial position to buy who is dying for this watch and they deserve it right now.

My AD and salesman said they made the decision to offer to me because they enjoy my business and know I have a passion for these products and am not a flipper. I felt this was a great position to be in and despite not picking up the sub right now, I’ll have more opportunities in the future.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Buy it .The classic sports Rolex

DO NOT flip it .Then better to leave it for someone desperately wanting one.

If I were in your shoes I would do the same as you. Being frank with the AD that you weren’t expecting it this soon is the best option. You had doubts over purchasing this ‘luxury’ item. Cashing in investments early could cost you more. Another sub will come along
