I think prices have peaked in the UK..... at least for a time.

I have got one and keep my eye on prices at WF. There are a few in stock there and they aren't shifting at the current asking prices.

Personally I think the price will go down. In my opinion, they are in the stratosphere between 17 to 20 grand. Which I believe is ridiculous. Once the Jubilee version is a little more obtainable, the price should drop significantly.

I also see them trending down slightly but not by much. I’m seeing pre owned for $14-15k which is better than $15-17k I was seeing a couple months ago. But what will happen in a year? Who knows. But I guess if you can’t get it now, you have no choice but to wait and cross your fingers. Good luck!

It might be slow progress if prices are going down but majority of pieces IMO prices have been fairly stable if not increased slightly. Another idea to purchase now and at today’s prices is perhaps find one you like and put it on a 12m IFC.

Just saw one of these preowned at one of the ADs this morning, for like 16.8k...crazy, I wasn’t a fan of the watch with the PCL bracelet.

This is not the first thread where you have started and posted crap to try influence the price of the BLNR that you don't have money for.

If you poured as much effort into your real work as you do into dribble like this maybe you could make things work out better for you.

Spot on! why keep referring to a watch that you want as 'inferior'

Why would anyone want this anyway?? I should save myself the embarrassment and just throw it in the trash

Have you actually read any of the comments on insta? Outside of this forum the opposite is true and oyster rules all 9/10 times

Personally I love both

Thankyou for speaking on behalf of the whole human race.
It's very public spirited of you.
You should consider becoming a politician.

It's not the truth......but thanks anyway.

Not according to the Rolex forum. Twice as many prefer the oyster; proof is in the pudding

If I was a betting man this is what I would put my money on:

No one is buying watches now pre-owned as it is summer. Prices will be the same or drop slightly up to End of September, but in October will creep back to where they were and November - December prices will rise £1k above the previous high point.

After Christmas I couldn’t say, flat or higher leading towards BW.

One thing is for sure, existing BLNR jubilee will NOT become easier to get. That is wishful thinking if I’ve ever heard it.

if you really love the watch, why are you splitting hairs about a relatively small percentage rise or drop? stressing yourself out and being rude to people because you didn’t buy the watch when you could find it at retail, then complaining about trying to wait to get it cheaper isn’t going to find you many supporters here.

according to screenshots above posted by johnjm, you don’t understand the rolex secondhand market whatsoever.

MSRP for jubilee or just a bit extra for oyster!
Current prices are just crazy . After all, it is a watch and a hobby and you could all your life without the watch.
prices will certainly crash or at least normalize once the next big thing is out there

Why is everyone so mad that I think the old BLNR will drop in price? It’s not discontinued like the black gmt which is actually discontinued it’s been replaced by a newer model so I was just thinking a newer model means the older model drops in price. When I wanted it before jubilee came out they were about 14k and now the 11k. I don’t get why everyone is stressed. I thought this was an open forum where opinions can be expressed.

I’ve had a look on chrono24 and they appear to start at £12k rising upwards.
I don’t see a decrease but that’s just me.

It's just you are stating your thoughts as facts.

Chrono 24 116710 BLNR graph. Its showing the opposite of what you are stating.

And compare to the 126. It shoots up initially then drops to realistic values.

Madman17 (Freudian slip) doesn't get it. He should be asking himself why 5 digit references aren't £400 on the same reasoning.

at no point in the last two years have any steel rolex “dropped” in price. don’t be absurd. the idea of an older model becoming *much* cheaper in this market is hysterical. demand is through the roof for everything, and we are not discussing cars here, or refrigerators, or vuitton handbags.

i think people are “mad” because you’re being kind of rude. and blanket statements being used as fact is never good form.
