I own one and love it. I like that it’s so different from any other Rolex, and the little bit of color is really nice.

Not for me. The dial is a confused mess.

Air King was the first watch I looked for but there are too many numbers for me, I think the 369 OP or Explorer I is perfect.

I love the dial but I think it absolutely deserves full lume. That was the deal breaker for me. If Rolex would kindly change the 5 at 1 o'clock to 05 and lume all numerals (using 3, 6 & 9 from 214270) I will get it in a heartbeat.

Rolex now have NOTHING to do with the Bloodhound (hence the nickname). The company when into administration, and all the old sponsor contracts were void.

So... this model already has a wonder history in Rolex terms, as it was designed as a direct design to echo the cockpit emergency dials... kinda like a special edition, but we all know Rolex dont produce 'official' special editions.

I think this will be the last year of production of this dial, Rolex wont want to be associated a failed project they had an interest in.

If you like it, get one before they vanish forever!!!!

Yes, that's rather harsh. One motto I always keep in mind, esp. before posting:

One man's 'ugly' is another man's grail.

No real harm done, but being considerate is always the high road.

I won't sell mine. True tool watch. Flies under radar. Original Rolex green.
