[QUOTE=ufboy73;9909351]Thanks ash - what did you think of it in person? Is the dial the same as the Pt, or is the Pt more subdued?
If you look at the time on the dial that was in the evening so there was no daylight. The dial is brighter than the blue of the platinum dial which I’m pleased about as the watch is a bit of a rip off of mine anyway. It’s a very nice watch, I’d wear it on a white strap and keep it for summer. In the sunshine I can imagine the blue ceramic looking quite bright but as a summer watch I think it would be amazing. The thing that surprised me the most was that apart from the weight there was virtually no visual difference between the platinum and the steel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The last pic was real, not a photoshop effort on my part and actually was just one part of a brilliant evening presented by AP.

strap on it - probably channeling your Pt pics on white! That is interesting about the case...would have thought the Steel looked a bit more grey |

I found this photo taken under intense light, it’s useful to show the difference in dial colour between platinum & steel and also how the blue bezel almost glows under bright light.

26405 by a country mile.
If I had the wrist for this watch, it would be my sole focus/must have as my next AP |

Voted for blu. Think that new grey 44mm and black CE will compete too much, wouldnt know which one to wear. Both of them are difficult to have strap options and dont like grey which goes by default. Blue is completely different so will have its place together with black CE. Coming also from black CE was looking at new green limited edition:)

From what I’ve heard those are allocated at least for this year. Not sure if the full run is spent.
