Not sure ‘hoarding’ is the right term / they are turning around and selling them

It is hoarding of sorts. These guys buy enough unwanted inventory that they get there hands on the stuff the people want and create artificial demand.

It’s a traditional “corner” - control supply so you can set the price.

Eh it's done with every single top brand. Keep in mind these are mass produced models and are posted for the exact reaction exhibited in this post.

Please share with us some of your collection PJ S. It would be nice for the watch lovers on here to see what you have.

Sorry to distract from the main topic of the post, but what do you think about the 15300 white dial which is sort of matte as opposed to the 15400 white dial which has that sun burst like finish? I love the case size of the 15300 (but haven't seen the dial in person, but the 15400 dial in person is incredible.

I also don't want to take the spotlight off the grey instagram hoarders but I could not be happier with the white Stern Freres dial. It will go silvery but it is more of a white. Matte is a little strong, it is not a shiny dial but it does have some brilliance. With my Royal Oak I never focus on one aspect, dial or otherwise, as it really is the embodiment of a complete watch design. Still, seeing one in person is really the only way to tell if it is to your taste. Also knowing that I can switch to black and keep the white was a pleasant surprise but I'm not really tempted for now.

That's definitely reassuring! I was always worried that it wouldn't reflect light at all, but from what you say, I shouldn't be worried. The more I think about it and having tried on a jumbo, the 39mm is the size for me! I also like the dial design of the 15300 more than its successors (and the fact that it is switchable!. So thanks! But back to the grey hoarders of insta
