@bruinmd, did you buy another AP that you aren't sure about?

I really like the watch a lot. But, since we can't try these on before hand or return them within 24 hours, I have to pull the trigger if I'm offered one. I've wanted a 42mm diver for some time-- preferably in titanium. So it was the ghost or this one, as I posted in the past.
I love the watch........the only two issues are the size-- as the lugs hit the outer limits of my wrist when looking down at it, and the skeleton hands/legibiiity in low light. But I love the color combo and titanium case/thickness. Time to pull the stickers off and bond with it. |

I’d like to see a thickness profile on your wrist (like the 9oclock side). Damn, last thing I need is another one to pursue

But no biggie. You seem comfortable enough dealing with resale, if necessary. Quote:
I think people over worry about lug overhang. Royal Oaks and their offshoots don’t perfectly fit many wrists, but they are still beautiful. As long as it’s not comical on your wrist, and you like it, then go all in on it. I think it looks great on your wrist, but it only matters what you think. |

How does the weight compare to a stainless model?

Congrats
Congratulations! I’m waiting for mine.
Quick question, since it’s titanium, does it have that titanium color or look more stainless steel? Does it feel too light compared to stainless steel? Thanks! |

Regarding overhang, I see your point. I wear a 44mm PAM 1312 as well, and the lugs on this are similar to that in terms of pushing the limits. I've said it before, I wish AP ROO models came in 40 and 44mm rather than 42 and 44mm. I think it would create better separation between the two lines and open up the line to so many more buyers. For me, it was either this model or the ghost, and I may still get the ghost one day as well-- especially if I can see it side by side next to mine. |

On the finish, it really surprised me. The only other titanium watch I've had was the PAM 682. There is ZERO comparison between the finishings of the two watches (not surprisingly). The finishing is not that of the typical titanium watch-- IMHO. It's unique, and complex. |

Bezel
Thanks.
From the photos, the bezel looks larger than the other ROOs, closer to a diver. Does it seem that way to you in person? |

Bumping an old thread, because I have the bug for one of these. Nice timepiece!
My wrist is 6.5” and more rounded. I can pull off a 42mm Panerai Submersible, so should be able to pull off this one. Although this one is probably longer lug-to-lug and even longer when you factor in the plots and the way the strap jets out. The case is 12.8mm, which is nice and thin!

My wrist is 6.5” and I have a Diver and a 26480. If you accept they are designed to be oversized then it’s all good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How do the lug-to-lug and furthest point plots/strap jet out measurements compare Diver vs. 26480? Case thickness - Diver 14.1mm vs. 26480 12.8mm. The 26480 is only 1.3mm thinner in paper, but still makes a big difference on the wrist.
