I have both and I’d take the 15202 all day. The Nautilus is a phenomenal watch, but I’m not sure there’s a watch at any price that I like more than the 15202.

The AP bracelet is so much more special than the Patek one

Well this is an AP thread, so you know where our friends stand. I'm sure I'll get flack for saying this, but to be completely frank and honest with you, I'd go 5711 for financial reasons. You know you are thinking that too!! lol

hahaha i am more of a AP guy, so i would go AP but not jumbo, still prefer the weight and thickness of a 15400.

for Patek, i would rather go 5164 traveltime. thicker.

to be honest, patek bracelet at its price point (RRP) is a joke. it's filmsy etc.
not even a push button release clasp.

Design, the RO wins hands down but for comfort and daily living the 5711 is just far better.

I own and love the 15202 but a good friend of mine has a white 5711. I’ve got to admit I didn’t appreciate the 5711 much until I saw it in person. To me, it looks pretty basic but the depth on both the white dial (almost silvery in person) and the blue dial 5711 is pretty epic. It’s something you need to see in person to get perspective.

That being said - 15202 for me has the most iconic design.

The PP SS nautilus watches are really up there in the stratosphere. But are they selling at those prices 60+ k USD? Just curious.

Sold the 15202 to fund a 5711 blue.

The non quick set date proved to be too much for me.

5711 no question. Adore both pieces but if a must one choice, the Patek is the simple choice.

15202 - it's the original.

And, I prefer industrial/masculine aesthetics > softer/feminine design of the 5711.

I think FN is pointing out that the grey dealer has his margin so if selling to a grey dealer you might see 50k but probably more like 45k.

My choice is both and I have both on order, but I don’t see them as similar watches apart from the 39mm size: the 15202 is unquestionably more masculine imo whereas the 5711 is more elegant and the watch that I intend to wear with a smart shirt and jacket.

15202 if the 5711 is white.

5711 if it's blue, but only if they're both MSRP. If they're grey, 15202 every time.

The 15202, I had both but only kept 15202... wished I kept the 5711 a little longer though when the prices boomed.

I have a 15400 that I really enjoy but it pales in comparison to my 5711 white. The 5711 white gets the most wrist time of all of mine. Subtle elegance !

I had that AP and did not bond although it was very nice. And the wife does not like the 5711. So I guess the 5711 to spite her. lol

I'd go 15202. I passed on the 5711white dial brand new at MSRP.
