**Your SEIKO and Japanese Whisky**

Hakushu 白州

Single malt whsiky by Suntory, the second whsiky distillery after Yamazaki 山崎, located in the forest of Mt Kaikoma 甲斐駒ケ岳

Here is a photo of few bottles left, some souvenirs and Seiko PADI Turtle

Hakushu 12, finish it tonight and gonna open a new bottle

Hakushu 18, was ¥15000 in duty free few years ago, now with special packing becoming ¥50000...

Hakushu Single Cask 1999 Isetan edition (11YO). Bought 2 bottles and finished 1 already, wanna keep this one as collection

Hakushu Single Cask 1994 Owner’s Cask (15 YO), only got 1 bottle and waiting for sth to celebrate to open it

Souvenirs

Few pictures taken from 2012 Hakushu distillery, that’s the time you can walk-in to buy any Yamazaki 12/18/25, Hakushu 12/18/25, Hibiki 17/21/30, good old time!

My SBGJ217G Hi Beat with a new bottle of Yamazaki - weirdly the face and label colours are almost a match.

Incoming SBDY033 with a Hakusha LE from the distillery shop. Demand for Japanese whisky seems to be insane - apart from these small bottles, which sold out in a few minutes, there was nothing to buy at the shop, and also no Japanese whisky of any description at Haneda duty-free. Far more stock in British supermarkets and in LHR

Picked up this little trio (just to get me through to my next trip) from three different convenience stores in Osaka. My duty free allowance was mainly given over to a couple of Big Beasts from Scotland this time. Wore my GS SBGT235 as I usually do for travelling

Thanks, it's the cover of a huge new Criterion set of the Showa Era Godzilla movies. There's pages of great artwork in there: https://www.criterion.com/boxsets/26...ilms-1954-1975

Tracked down a bottle of Yamazaki 12 after seeing the posts here. Got to try some last night and it was so different from the usual whiskey I’ve had in the past.

Yamazaki 18 will be next!
