Sell sub, nothing special about it. Change the bezel to fluted on DJ if you can, otherwise no problem.

Sell the DJ with a view for a fluted bezel in future. Keep the Sub and BLNR.

Sell the GMT...the profit should cover most of the DJ.
If you sell the DJ your looking at a loss. |

Yes, sell it!
you got 3 modern pieces, all around same size.....I mean think about it: why wear that DJ when you got the new BLNR?

Dilemma: Should I sell my 1 week old DJ41 blue jubilee?
Why not get rid of the Sub ND for now? The DJ41 offers something different and not as common as compared to the Sub ND (which is the obvious choice for most on the forum). Plus you might come up ahead in terms of covering your losses on the Sub ND due to high demand.
Sounds like you have a good AD who's ready to offer you tough-to-get pieces such as the BLNR and so I'm sure you can get a Sub ND later with a little bit of wait. I also agree that you shouldn't make a quick decision now. Put each watch on a 1 week (or better yet 1 month) rotation and see how you feel. I don't think the extra time is going to hurt resale value by much anyway... |

My two cents, I think the DJ plus either the Sub or BLNR is the much better combination. To me, the Sub and GMT are both sporty, so the DJ gives you nice balance.

I’ve decided that I’m going to give Doug the option of simply swapping his iconic Rolex Submariner for my Omega Planet Ocean and Tudor Black Bay blue.
Much less hassle than getting low balled by potential buyers. |

Between these three models, I would sell the DJ.

Can’t sell the 911 of watches, and you love the Bruce Wayne, so it has to be DJ

I'm the wrong guy to ask, I think I have bought a dozen or so this year. If I were you, I'd keep all three and not feel bad about it....

Personally would keep all 3. If I had to choose, I would drop the submariner before the DJ.
All 3 watches work well with business casual, or beach setting. The DJ and the GMT will have the water resistance requirement to go down the depths 99% of this forum’s members would ever get close to, me included. |

If DJ was on a fluted bezel, I'd say keep.
But if it doesn't spark joy! like the BLNR then say goodbye and let someone else enjoy it! That said, I'm in the camp of never selling any Rolex that I buy. |

Here’s another solution, put the sub bracelet on the blnr and sell the sub with jubilee lol.

My advice, keep the DJ, do not under any circumstance sell it, this is your different watch, this is the watch that you sought out to be your dressy watch, the BLNR does not fit this role, it is a Sport watch it is from the Professional range as is the Submariner, the DJ is very much a traditional Classic watch and works on those occasions when you don't want a big watch on your wrist. I firmly believe that you will miss the DJ if you sell it. IMHO I would keep all 3 for the next 6 months, give yourself some time to think and decide how you want your collection to go. If you can afford it keep all 3, each has its own unique character, Sub for day to day stuff, BLNR for evenings/weekends and the DJ for those occasions where understated style is required on those smarter occasions. |

I would sell the DJ only if you are prepared to get killed on its resale value. It won’t be good so keep that in mind.

Give it some more time. Hasty decisions rarely have worked out for me especially in the watch game.
You just might find that having three watches works well. IMO the DJ is a nice fit with the two you have. I get your thinking as to why you’d like to only have two watches though ... I struggle with four and would like to get down to three ... I think |

Seems like a toss up between Sub and GMT. Keep the DJ as it’s the outlier.

Actually, the SS DJ41 (especially blue with jubilee) is trading at or a little bit higher than msrp on used market — it became an allocation piece about 2 1/2 months ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

In your video you came across so happy with the DJ41 especially the sunburst blue.
But at the end of the day I guess you are going along with hype and the BLNR is one hyped watch. I think you have made your mind up already to sell the DJ so you might as well. Rarely does the DJ stand against a chance against Stainless Steel sports in this decision making which is a shame really as DJ's are still nice watches and you're one without the fluted bezel makes it a good all rounder. |
