I miss those days where receipts were printed by a dot matrix printer on good quality papers. They last a long time.

I always take a pic of the watch box receipt books etc the day I buy my watches.

Plus it’s good/necessary to have it should an unfortunate loss insurance situation occurs.

I still have pics from my watches I sold! Saved emails/contacts in some cases. One guy that bought one of mine has misplaced his receipt and I have a pic of it still!

I've just noticed this photo' in the 'vintage department'.
It seems the paperwork is important in some circles.

Agree we have a new syndrome on forum now with the many others {FRS} faded receipt syndrome when will it all end.
