Hey thanks everyone!! It's actually been a year since I first purchased this so my posts numbers are not the result of several days hahaha. Anyways, like I said before I will try to take some photos this evening. Well here they are. I'm not much of a photographer b/c my camera kind of sucks. I don't have much experience with photography so this is the best I could do for now. Hope you all enjoy.

The watch came with complete 100% documentation including the original receipts when first purchased. I bought the watch from a grey dealer and I have also photographed my personal receipt as well. This is as close to complete as it gets!!

Hey everyone!! Well, I joined this forum a few days ago and already posted several things on here. I noticed there were quite a few people writing threads to introduce themselves and thought to do so myself. I recently just purchased my 1st Rolex!! I've been wanting one since I was around 15 but I was too young then and didn't have the financial ability to afford one. Now, I finally recently graduated from college and entered the working world, I decided its time to fulfill my dream. I spent at least a year shopping around and going to ADs frequently to try on each Rolex they had. I originally really wanted the Milgauss GV but couldn't find one at the ADs and when I finally got a chance to see the Milgauss in person, it just didn't spark for me. I wanted a watch that not only I wanted to wear but something that would be a good investment as well. The GV was interesting to me b/c the green crystal just seemed like something special, but unfortunately the watch was kinda plain for my tastes. But who knows, if the time is right, I may just get one. Anyways...getting back on track. I also really liked the TT Submariner with black dial but for my age, the gold may not be the right time for my age. I looked online and travelled too all the dealers in Massachusetts to find the right one. Finally, I came upon a GD online and found out he was in Connecticut so I drove all the way down there and took a look at a watch I saw on his site. There were actually two, both SS Daytonas 116520, but one was a white face and the other black. I was down there for probably 1 hour and finally decided on a preowned black face SS Daytona 116520 D serial. I just love the timeless design and it really fits my personality given I am an extreme car enthusiast. Well I guess this was my journey to buying my first Rolex and hope to meet a lot of great people here. I recently noticed the prices coming down a lot on Rolexes whether due to demand and the economy, but I hope this is temporary and that I made a wise investment. I will definitely posts some pics when I finally get a chance to take some pics.
ooOOo congrats, you are very fortunate to have a Daytona for a first ROlex.

Congratulations!

You're wise to fulfill this desire at a relatively young age! That ensures even more years of feeling just as good when you look at it as the day you got it. Welcome and many happy returns.

Nice watch to own as your first Rolex. It probably set the bar pretty high for your next one :) It took me about 4 years to get my white face 116520 since I bought my first rolex.

Enjoy in good health!
