It's definitely obvious there is some colour variation on these now. I wonder where Rolex is going with that.

I'm surprised you're only coming to this conclusion now. For me, after I saw the comparison shots of the Mk 1. and Mk 2. together under the same lighting conditions it was apparent that there were differences in bezel colour.

The existence of a mk 3 has sealed it for me. It's almost a Coke. I wouldn't call it Pepsi anyway..

I like this series. I think it helps with understanding what blend Rolex was able to do that cycle. Pictures help with understanding the blend, especially in different lighting situations.
