I'm fine with the idea of putting diamonds on a Rolex. In some cases, I even think it looks pretty good (like the SABR). But, an Air King? That might be the least blingy watch in Rolex's catalogue -- it doesn't even have the elegant simplicity of the very sporty Explorer. I feel like diamonds on an Air King have to be ironic.

At least they left the movement alone and didnt pop open the watch for this job.
10K for that? So they're making 3-4K on the diamond job. The diamonds cost them 500 bucks (for a big big bag of these tiny arse ones). Great margin if they sell it. |
