Wasn’t difficult. Just contact your nearest AP service centreCost approximately was $2500 Canadian Dollars, which would be around $1800 to $2000 USD but unlike Rolex you get to keep the original dial.

HA! I wish i knew that...all good though, white's can be had close to MSRP+tax brand new, so it seems like a good move!

I heard a rumour that you have to own the silver dial reference for a couple of years before they will perform a dial swap, don’t know if this is true or not though.

So wrong. The watch is gender less. It’s purely based on wrist size.

It looks larger than most 37mm but it depends on the watch you compare with.

I had my watch for 4 months and had it swapped. No issues.

You had them swap it to a blue dial? (Based on your sig)

What was the cost to have it swapped? Did you need to service the watch as well? Interested in the details as I'd imagine they would want to limit the number of people who buy any dial and then have it swapped to blue which is typically more desireable / commands a premium.

It's not by magic it's look larger !
The width is 37mm, but if you measure the diameter on the edge of the case it is close to 39mm, as all Royal oak.

It wears more like a submariner due to the lugs.

I have a very small wrist (6.4-6.5 inch), the 15450 had been my go to watch for a very long time. Now not so much, Recently picked up a 41mm ROC that I know is a little big on me but still wearable.
The 37mm RO simply feels too small these days. I guess tastes and perceptions change with time & experience with other brands & pieces.

Been lusting on AP RO for a while but the size is just too large for my 6.5” wrist. Excited with 37mm 15450 and encouraged to hear that it wears like 40mm. For me it would be the white/silver dial. Second choice would be blue. I have seen 41mm grey RO in person but it’s kinda too monotonous? Hope to get one next year.

Another vote for the white/silver. The grey is too difficult to read (which makes it useless in my book).

15202: Extremely difficult to get. Costs you your left nut at $45K+. Have $45K to throw? You're probably lusting for a Patek. No seconds hand anyway. Is it even running? Nobody at the club notices your RO costs double the other guy's. You could have paid off your car loan or bought gold spinners. Fail.
15300: Discontinued. Impossible to try on. Order used. Fits? great! Doesn't? "do you take returns?" Ah, didn't think so.
15450: Hitherto a men's size, now marketed as "unisex" to catch the power-girls who also enjoy wearing our Daytonas. Sub $20K, readily available, stunning dial, looks great on small wrists. Success.

Your collection has black and champagne. Why not add white/silver? It catches the light from every angle and literally sparkles. I've got a 6.5" wrist.

I was planning to buy AP15450 but waiting for daytona as well. I thought I can wait 6 more months. Then price increased. Now I have no ide what I should do? Should I still buy 15450 at this current higher price? If so which color? No chance to try them on AD.

I guess you better sell all of your under 40mm Rolex watches right away then! I wouldn’t want you to get too self conscious.
In all seriousness it comes down to personal preference. In my opinion that 15400 looks too big on your 6.5” wrist. However you may like wearing oversized watches and that’s OK.

OP my vote is for the grey, I think it looks industrial in a great way. Both are very nice, you can’t go wrong!

And don’t worry about what some people think of the 15450, it wears very similar to a Daytona. Some guys just have a size issue, but it’s their issue. Aside from it suiting my wrist size, I actually prefer the case depth to case diameter ratio of the 15450 over other models.

Do you personally think that the blue is worth paying 40% more than the white?

what? you can actually pay to change dial? would that effectively make it same as the blue dial ? does not make sense to me. then why would people pay such a high premium?

Why are you reviving the part of the thread from several months back that got the poster banned for his non-stop insistence on the gender of this unisex watch?

Silver dial for me. I’ve tried on this watch and fell in love. It’s currently going to be a milestone watch for myself.

Tough question. For me yes, but only because white dual watches don’t suit my skin tone in my view. If it wasn’t for that, then no.

Hi guys, I’m new here but thought I’d give my 2c. The 15450 wears incredibly well, all around fantastic piece. IMO the proportions are much better than the 15500. Like many others have said, it wears larger than 37mm, and I am of the belief you should wear what fits your wrist, not what you deem is “masculine” :). I love the white dial!

I have a silver dial 15450 and a blue dial 15450. The silver dial is much ‘smarter’ and the right option if you want it to pop. The grey dial will be more sporty and under the radar. Both great.

Hi my friend. The other day, you tried to help me to decide about 15300 and 15450. What is your wrist size? That blue dial 15450 looks great on you! I do not know whether 15450 looks a bit bigger/large on the camera or photos. I seriously liked it much on your wrist.

My wrist is 6.5”. The camera tends to make watches look a touch bigger than they appear to the naked eye, but not significantly. I would say that the 15450 is the perfect size for my wrist. I very slightly prefer the black dial 15300 because it’s more casual (the blue dial on the 15450 really pops in some lighting so is smarter to my eye), but the 15450 fits me slightly better than the 15300 if I’m really honest.
