Ive worn 16600 for about 3 months and recently picked up a new 116610 and worn last 5 days. I can say 6 digit is far superior but less unique.

Right. If the 5 digit was a 2-liner, then it would be left.

Looks as if Rolex forgot to machine the lugs on the one on the right, or the bracelet is too small !

I prefer the modern 114060. Case size, lugs, bezel, bracelet and the amazing Glide Lock Clasp.

If you are the original owner of the five digit, I would keep that one.

I have, love, wear both > keepers. My 14060m is also a 2011/12 (sold 6/12) I'll say LEFT here. Last year production, 4 liner, random ser no.

Back story on them? Personally I tried to downgrade to 5dig multiple times, but being that I started with a 6, the 5 always felt cheap. If you started with a 5, and love it, the opposite might happen to you as the 6 is bulky and heavier. Really no right or wrong for this one, just personal preference. I wouldn’t make a move until March, in case they do discontinue the 3130 - it may have a slight surge in value (or might not), but I’d hold just to make sure you maxed out on profitability given that’s it’s a few months away. |
