Two beauties there, Richard. I reckon we have those small red flowers here in Queensland. That YG Blue is spectacular regardless of background.

Black (Red) Subs and red flowers are the ultimate colour combo Roger. Nice shot!

This is an interesting big plant called 'Anthurium Hookeri' or 'Bird Nest Anthurium' that lives on our back deck (although not on the table).
The Spadix is what caught my attention as it adds a bit of interest to what is otherwise just a big green tropical-looking plant. This big old guy has had a bit of a hiding from the grasshoppers.

"Honey Perfume" rose. Apparently a prize-winning variety globally. Has a lovely perfume that is noticeable within about a foot of the bush. Looks yellow but actually has a touch of apricot about it.

Hi again, here is a photo of a Hippeastrum. They are all going well at present. This one reminded us of the sort of 'Speaker stand' that you see at big public events. It was also notable as the flowers were facing to the Cardinal points of the compass.
