Because nobody looks at watch prices. Especially when buying or selling.

This gettin really stupid !

A Rolex is a wristwatch and needs to be worn, not being bought purely for investment purpose.

To the naysayers... this isn't difficult.

Goto Chrono 24. In the search box type in Rolex Batman (as an example) and after the result set is returned sort on Price: low to high.

You can see for yourselves. Right now there are 10 Batmans at $13,500 or less.

A price correction is definitely taking place. Since September i would say a average of 8% in general. Batman jubilee seems to be the big diver.

New TT Bluesy for $11,835

I'm not an expert, just quoting the prices here for members to debate. will be posting more next week if any interesting sales happen.

For the Hiulk - at least on StockX there has been a similar dip - looks like it’s had its peaks and valleys as others have mentioned but at least for now it’s a bit lower

Maybe people are starting to realize that they’re just finely shaped chunks of carbon.

Rolex are not expensive pieces, Patak Phillipe are, Rolex are still within reach of the average working person.

If there's one thing more amusing than people getting wound up () about watches, it's seeing people get wound up about other people talking about watches.
