Simply fantastic. The case diameter looks similar to your 114270 explorer but the lug-to-lug seems several mm larger. Is this the case?

I'm truly happy for you and wish you the best. Makes me want to start after a 1016 or 5512-5513.

Hi Arkwhaler! Thanks for your message, and an interesting question you made.
Sorry for the delay in answering, but I just could take some measures yesterday night.

The between the lugs "span" of these watches are as follow:
Explorer 43 mm
Old Sub no guards 47 mm
New 14060 47 mm

Also interesting, that the dials of three mentioned watches is identical 30 mm.

Now, Explorers nominal case size is 36 mm
Old Sub external bezel diameter is 37 mm
New 14060 Sub extyernal bezel dia is 40 mm

Interesting to campare these measures, thanks to your lind comment.
