Any other suggestions for places to be sized or brands to try? I did end up buying one at Nordie's but the more I wear it... I think it might be a medieval torture device....

Hello,

I am an expert on fitting bras for ladies. I have been doing this for more than 30 years and so far all of my customer are very happy.
I would also like to add that I have alot of repeat customers.
So if you would like to me fit you, just pm me with some photos and I should be able to tell the size.
Normally I would like to feel them, but with my experience, expertice and circumtances, photos will do for now.

The only thing I really know is that the center part of the bra (the piece that holds the cups together) should fit flush against your sternum.

Jen, I have the same issue finding bras. The band is always too big and the cups too small, making it awkward to find proper sizes. I recommend going to a specialty store that just features lingerie. When I did that, the owner handed me different bras until I found one that actually fit perfectly. It was all trial and error, no measuring! It takes a while but it's worth it, good luck!

Jen just to get serious. I found this, it may be of use

www.dixieddcups.com Its based in Georgia.

Talk to the owner "Honest Joe". The web site promises excellent customer service, will go to any lengths to satisfy, and for a small charge will provide warm hands.

Feedback is mixed.
Bitsy from Norfolk was "delighted by the attention to detail and was completley satisfied and look forward to coming again"
Four USA based women complained about "broken promises, slow and erratic service" There was also lack of communication with a theme of being told honest Joe had "gone fishing", but they all said they did get a refund eventually with interest.

Good luck
