Tourneau - Please Don’t Touch My Watch

I’m generally puzzled by this behavior at Tourneau.

I ask to view a watch, I place mine into the tray. While I try the watch, the SA continuously picks up and puts down my watch.

Every Tourneau SA does this and in a way that is very similar and deliberately so.

What gives?
