Agreed

There is unquestionably a difference - particularly in the blue, however.

Might want to check the bracelet screws on the second one. It looks like a screw is not all the way in?

I looked at this thread on my phone, my Ipad, and on a desktop monitor. What I "see" is very little if any difference. I don't disagree that there are subtle variations but these pics don't prove much.

That's the main observable difference between the two!

I can actually see it in the last image, but (no offense to the OP) these images don’t have a lot of light on the watches. The images are generally dark. So it would be difficult to tell.

Im not gonna get into the whole Mk debate. But there are undoubtedly differences in bezel inserts that generally coincide with with specific time periods of production. Within those time periods there may very well be even smaller nuanced differences as well, but none as obvious as the three main changes we’ve seen.

…and they came out of the light box and then you took the photos ?

Good thing the existence of variations has already been documented, sorry OP, these photos would make a very weak case.

The one on the right in the first picture is darker for sure.

Wow, interesting reactions, thank you all for the replies.

No time right now to address all the comments but those who don’t see a difference just look at one for a while then look at the other. Expanding the image helps a lot.

I used my phone for the pics, the first without the flashlight and the other two with. The light box assures even lighting but not ideal lighting. The main issue with other comparisons has always been uneven light. These pics control for lighting variance.

True but the later version def looks better. Richer and darker color when I compared in person.

For a light box the light seems very low and I also think the watches appear identical in the photo.

Now when you have the box you only need the light.

Good one Jocke

Like I said in another reply the light box only controls the dispersion of the light and since I took the pics spur of the moment the total light may have been less than ideal.

However, the two watches are clearly different. Obviously different. Point of fact different...
