Good video and nice watch. Never paid a lot of attention to the Tudor brand. Will have to check it out...

Can't argue with that. It's a nice video for those that are interested in the watch but not really a review.

They have been Tudor fanboys for a while. They are sticking to a formula that other channels have copied and is now played out because of it.

I do like their collector conversations, though. The stories behind the watch and their owners is always more interesting to me than the watch itself.

Can someone point to a negative review EVER done by HODINKEE? Every watch is special in bs way. Fratello does negative reviews which shows journalistic honesty.

Lotta negative comments about a site that provides completely free content that no one is being forced to consume.

I like Hodinkee, personally. Great pics, interesting discussions, and it doesn't cost me a penny. I've found out about several great watches through Hodonkee, most of which had no business partnership at all with the site.

Yes you don’t understand though, just because it is free doesn’t mean anything because the content is highly misleading

If you need a watch journal, blog whatever you want to call to determine if you should buy a watch probably shouldn’t buy at all. No way any of them (Fratello included) can do proper reviews with just holding onto the watches shorter term anyway. Most negative reviews are highly subjective anyway so really not as big of a deal as you think lol

Great watch but two things I don't like:

1. The snowflake hands, I just never liked them.

2. The riveted bracelet.

I love everything else about the watch. the new movement and smaller size is just perfect especially slimming the case thickness down.

Upgraded to a 114060 instead - a watch that unashamedly knows what it is.
Amen to that, Sir.

Great watch

It’s the riveted bracelet that stops me getting on

What examples would you give for most misleading content published by Hodinkee?

100% spot on. I fully agree! They are prodigies at story telling and marketing.

Would someone help clarify the bracelet?

Are the rivets for looks or functional? Like cars with fake hood scoops, I just never liked them. What is the purpose other than looks?

I find this as close as I come to finding a watch I'd part with cash for from the Rolex umbrella!!! Great watch but no, too much of a hit in value on purchase.
